The boys bond.
Meredith and where the boys are!
Snow Canyon and the Hess's make quite a scenic sight.
On our way up the trail to an easy 20 minute or so path up to Johnson Cave and approximately 40 minutes to get to Scout Cave going East.
The Jacobsons and Larsons head to Scout Cave which is east of the Johnson Canyon Trail.
M & R below Red Mountain with the wash, the lava, E.T. and Utah hills in the background.

We have arrived. Johnson Canyon is rather lovely in the shade without sun but still glorious!

Johnson Canyon in the morning light.
We simply couldn't resist the lure of the red rock. Ann, Laura and Don get to climb a bit.

Pilates is the new game in town according to Richard Hess. The classes led by Ann and Miriam are great. This is making a new man out of Mr. Hess and he encourages others of the male species to join him.
Johnson Arch up close and personal. Even in the morning light without sun, it is a sight to behold.

Rock formations and terrain make us want to have a geologist present to give us the lowdown.

All it's cracked up to be describes the setting!
The Utah hills and lava loom in the background. This was the first Entrada hike for many in the group. Ann and Don lead as we wrap up this gorgeous morning found right in our back yards.

Johnson Arch in all of its glory. It is immense and is probably unbelievable with the late day sun.

Ann and Don are out of the gym and into nature.
Red Mountain sits in front us as we come to a close post hike-one wonderful view after another.

Linda and Laura giggling over their friends in California that said, "You are moving where? Are you crazy?" Little did they know that they didn't know what they could be missing in these glorious red rocks. They can have the crowds, pollution, traffic and high taxes!!!!!
What a hike! Thank you, Ann!
